MoonFire MoonFire
performs what one reviewer described as "power chamber-folk music." Traditional
Celtic, English and American instrumentals and songs form the foundation
of the ensemble’s sound, but MoonFire enjoys presenting music in settings
ranging from classical to contemporary. Their Azalea City recording,
Present, Past, and Future won the Washington Area Music Association's award for best Celtic album in 2001.
"Charged with dancing rhythms and joyous refrains...MoonFire radiates waves
of enjoyment."
