Workshops & Programs

Andrea enjoys working with learners at all levels. She has presented workshops at Berklee College of Music, the Universities of New Mexico and Washington, and for many groups across the U.S., Canada, Britain and Sweden. Workshops range from 1-to-2-hour intensives to week-long residencies. Topics include:

traditional Swedish fiddle styles
improvisation
the art of practicing
fiddling for violinists
technique and tone production
ensemble playing

and other topics by request.

Andrea is currently developing workshop programs which combine music and creative writing.
