By just listening to The U-Liners you’ll travel the rails of social justice and feel the community spirit.
“The payoffs are plentiful … the original tunes enliven things … real treats … when it puts a hauntingly harmonized spin on (Woody Guthrie’s) ‘Pastures of Plenty.’” —The Washington Post
“Longtime area roots-rocker Joe Uehlein practices in the best folk tradition: social consciousness that never loses site of musical enjoyment, and vice versa.” —On Tap Magazine

On Saturday, May 31st, 2008, Ruthie and the Wranglers delivered a solid Patsy Cline tribute to a capacity crowd at the Brunswick Fire Hall in Brunswick, MD. The event commemorated a 1955 performance by Patsy Cline that took place on the same stage where she performed with Jimmy Dean at a benefit concert for a then 5 year-old burn victim named Vicki Stairs. Ms. Stairs, now 55, was present at the concert and was introduced and again honored.

Enjoy!
We really look forward to seeing you at one of our special events. Please check our website to learn more about each of our artists. Everyone at Azalea City wishes you a very happy fall!
