Carey Creed Carey's latest release features frequent band-mates Jody Marshall (co-producer with Carey), Grace Griffith, and Paul Nahay, as well as many other DC area luminaries. The song offerings range from contemplative to whimsical, and are all performed on acoustic (non-electric) instruments; the medieval gemshorn even makes a special appearance. Carey has received multiple first place honors from the Songwriters Association of Washington as well as top Gospel/Inspirational vocalist awards from the Washington Area Music Association. Songs from her previous albums, I'll Know You (2002 Azalea City CD) and earlier recording, Plum Branch, have received regional and national airplay.
